Mona Eyles Obituary

Mona Lee (Jusko) Eyles, 88, of Englewood, FL, formerly of Delmont, passed away peacefully on Aug. 14, 2025. Born on Sept. 28, 1936, in Heilwood, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Pearl (Croyle) Jusko. In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Edward Eyles; her sister, Louise Bassaro; and her brothers, Alex ("Nook") and Ronald Jusko. Mona is survived by her four children, Lynn (Dave) Riston of Englewood, FL, Guy (Denise) Eyles of Powhatan, VA, Gay (Chuck) Stock of Export, and Jodi (Tony) Horvath of Murrysville. She was the proud and loving grandmother of nine grandchildren: Erica (Steve) Larkin, Alex Gray, Shay (Karmyn) Eyles, Ty Eyles, Brittney (Ryan) O'Shea, Cody (Lorrie) Eyles, Shelby Stock (Gary), and Baylee and Brooke Horvath. Her legacy continues through her five great-grandchildren. Mona was the true definition of the ultimate mother: caring, selfless, and fiercely devoted to her family. Whether it was on the softball field, at the pool, or just navigating life, she was her family's biggest fan and loudest cheerleader. Mona was the glue that held her family together, always encouraging, always present. Whether she was in Florida or Pennsylvania, her home was a place full of laughter, love, Honey BBQ potato chips, and lasting memories. In fact, the doorbell played "The Gang's All Here" because, more often than not, they were. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering family ties. Mona's life was a testament to the power of kindness, warmth, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As per Mona's wishes, the family is honoring her memory privately.
