Marion Brewer Obituary

Marion Brewer, 77, of Irwin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. She was born Jan. 16, 1948, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Melvin Bohon and Julia (Tirpak) Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronnie Lee Brewer Sr., in 2023; and by her son, Ronnie Lee Brewer Jr. Marion is survived by two loving sons, Scott (Vicki) Brewer of Greensburg and Dave (Tiffany) Brewer of Harrison City; two cherished granddaughters, Ashley (Paul) Herold of Greensburg and Lindsay Brewer of Jeannette; and three great-grandchildren, Madeleine, William, and Wyatt, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her brother; several nieces and nephews; and her loyal fur baby, Gypsy. Marion enjoyed sewing, quilting, and "glamping," and she especially treasured time spent with her family. She found great comfort in reading her Bible and lived her life grounded in her faith. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, in the funeral home, with Pastor Martin Mandak presiding. Interment will follow at Brush Creek Cemetery.
