Pauline Good Obituary

Pauline Good, of Manor, went home to be with her Lord on April 16, 2025. Born in Somerset, on May 18, 1929, daughter of Mary (Marker) and Edwin Kreger. Pauline worked at the Tribune-Review and then went to Annette Fashions in Penn, where she retired to take care of her in-laws. She has always been involved with her children's schools and activities, having been a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for many years. She also was a Cub Scout leader until she handed the Boy Scout leader reins over to her husband. Her house was where all the neighborhood kids would meet and play, with permanent first, second, and third grass-less bases in the yard. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She gave her nut rolls to all her children's teachers and school bus drivers for Christmas. She helped at the Manor Food Bank and the annual fish fry for the Manor Firemen into her late 80s where her lemon meringue pies were always requested. She loved sewing and made a lot of clothes and mended many garments. She sewed memory bears for hospice into her 80s until her beloved sewing machine quit. She could never get used to the newer ones, so she finally hung up her thread and needles. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Godor of Westmoreland City and Joni (Vince) Seyko of Irwin; her sons, Cary (Sheila) of North Huntingdon and Edwin (Mary Frances) of Manor; six grandchildren, Jodi (Jake) Frederick, Jarrod (Arleen) Hobaugh, Corrie Godor, Andrea (Brandon) Frencho, Nicholas Good, and Michael Good; two step-grandchildren, Randy (Jean) Camp and Corey (Amanda) Camp; four great-grandchildren (who lovingly referred to her as 'GG'); and two step-great-grandchildren (who lovingly referred to her as 'Nana'). She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James; her mother, father, and sisters, Martha Jean Lemmon (and her husband, Dave), Nina Kreger, Alta Kreger, and Bud Kreger (and his wife, Ollie). She also is survived by a special friend, Jane Liebdzinski. They say it takes a village, and she enjoyed every one of her 'village people.' She loved her Manor Presbyterian Church family and enjoyed seeing them when she was able. She had an infectious smile and laugh and saw humor and love in everything. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, in the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Tom Holmes presiding. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Export. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Manor Presbyterian Evangelical Church, P.O. Box 545, Manor, PA 15665. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.ottfuneralhome.com.

She was such a sweetheart. She aways came and talked to us at the fish fry. She lived a long life and now it's time for her to rest. Our deepest sympathy to you all.
