I had the fortune of knowing Mike at Siemens and saw his brilliance as an electrical engineer. His favorite personal topic to share was often the time he spent in Pittsburgh at the homeless shelters and food kitchens. Then, in 2006, when my son died in an auto accident, I met the "real" Mike Krepinevich! He had words of condolence that could not have come from any average person. Thankfully, just last year, with the help of a mutual friend to get his phone number, I was finally able to tell Mike how much his words helped me! What a good man.

Tammie, I´m so sorry to learn of your precious Dad´s passing. It´s not ever easy to lose a loved one but when you lose your Dad, it feels so much deeper and painful. My heart aches for you and your family. Knowing he´s dancing on golden streets with his Savior brings peace I´m know, but it still stings deep. My condolences for you all.
