William Kirk Obituary

William passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, and was born Aug. 20, 2002, in Kingwood, TX, to Amy and Brett Kirk. William attended Kingwood schools until the family moved to Sewickley. He graduated from Quaker Valley High School, where he ran cross country, played tennis, was on the robotics team, and was in the National Honor Society. William was a Lego enthusiast and received rave reviews for a model he created of the Quaker Valley High School. In May, William graduated with honors from Clemson University. He was looking forward to attending the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas to become a CPA, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Leon Manning. William loved the family farm in Nacogdoches County. There, he hunted, fished, and explored the land. He and his sister, Eliza, and brother, John, were the sixth generation of "Mannings" to enjoy the land. William was a member of Church of Christ in the various areas of the country the family lived, and most recently at Seneca Church of Christ near Clemson University. William is survived by his father, Brett Kirk; sister, Eliza Kirk; grandparents, Betty and Bill Kirk; grandmother, Nancy Manning; uncles, Trent Kirk and Jim Manning; aunt, Kim Kirk; and cousins, Ali and Leah Kirk.
