Claudia Hindman Obituary

Claudia C. Hindman, 89, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025. She was born on Aug. 21, 1936, in Westmoreland City, the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Grich) Siefert. Claudia enjoyed knitting, baking, and hosting big family holiday get-togethers, but most of all, spending time with her family. Prior to her retirement, Claudia was employed by Wilson Candy as a candy maker. In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Doug Gabriel; and her brother, Herman Siefert. Claudia will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald Hindman; son, Samuel D. (Kathleen) Hindman; daughters, Dawn Renee Gabriel and Tracy Lynn (Tom) Munden; brother, William (Cindy) Siefert; and many nieces and nephews. Claudia was a proud, loving grandmother to Amanda (Patrick), Ashley (Andrew), Felicia (Dan), T.J.(Kaitlyn), Melody (Jim); great-grandchildren, Lilah, Piper, Stella, Amelia, Mackenzie, Bayleigh, Garrett, Brayden, and Peyton, whom she loved dearly.
