Damon Disciascio Obituary

Damon J. Disciascio, 52, of Loyalhanna, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital. Born March 3, 1973, in Latrobe, he was the son of Francis L. Disciascio and Nancy (D'Angelo) Disciascio. Damon was a member of St. James Catholic Church, New Alexandria.An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Derry Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed trips to Potter County and Benezette. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, Damon is survived by his wife, Kristen M. (Baker) Disciascio, of Loyalhanna; one sister, Danielle Frye, and her husband, William, of Greensburg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Connie Baker, of Latrobe; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Marcie Baker, of Latrobe. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at St. James Catholic Church, New Alexandria, with the Rev. Tyler Bandura as celebrant. Private interment will be at Unity Cemetery.
