Debra S. Granus, 65, of Fallowfield Township, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at Jefferson Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1956, in North Charleroi, a daughter of the late Harry and Verna Ghrist Sikora. Debra was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, Charleroi. She was a graduate of the California University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in medical tech and received her Master's in business administration at the University of Connecticut. Debra is survived by her husband, Mark Granus; three children, William Granus, Nicole (Seth) Hays and Andrew Granus; two grandchildren, Ada and Joseph Popinski; and a brother, Richard (Sam) Sikora, of Lover. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at the MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, in Holy Trinity RO Church with Archpriest Gregory Peterson presiding. Interment will follow at Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township. Panachida services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. . Online condolences may be expressed at www.melenyzer.com.

We were so sad to hear this news. We are also so sad she suffered. We like to remember Debi as a wonderful athlete, playing golf and tennis and enjoying life. We also remember her because we met at work and became friends. Sending our deepest sympathy.
