Donald Fouse Obituary

Donald E. Fouse, 96, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born Jan. 21, 1929, in Hyde Park, he was the son of the late Elmer Charles and Genevieve Hatti (Held) Fouse. Donald attended Leechburg High School and worked as a dispatcher for ATI Steel Corp West Leechburg for over 43 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Pine Run Community Church. Donald enjoyed archery hunting, fishing, dowsing for gold, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fouse; infant son, Robert "Bobby" Fouse; daughter, Deborah Fouse; grandsons, Kenneth (Chip) Fouse Jr. and Stephen Fouse; sisters, Ruth Sanford and Genevieve Yonek; brothers, Robert Fouse, Richard Fouse, Rodney Fouse, and Kenneth Fouse; and son-in-law, Bruce Walker. Donald is survived by his children, Darlene J. (Mike Joseph) Walker, Kenneth E. (Patricia) Fouse of East Vandergrift, and Rodney (Jane) Fouse of Vandergrift; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from noon until the hour of service at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, in CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, with Pastor Josh Strunk officiating.
