Earnest James "Ernie" Guest, 77, of Jeannette, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 4, 2021. He was born Dec. 13, 1943, in Pearson, Ga., son of the late Wilson and Priscilla Guest. Ernie graduated from Jeannette Senior High School in 1962. He served in the Army and was previously employed by Allegheny Ludlum, Leechburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Woodrow Cooper and John Guest, and a sister, Bobbi Jean Dudley. He is survived by his wife, Ludell Guest, of Irwin; two daughters, Tamika and Kelly Guest, of Jeannette; seven grandchildren, Tavian Sanders, Deja Sanders, Samir Crosby, Harmony Guest, Taylor Buller, Brandon Buller and Desmond Sanders; a sister, Idella Adams, of Grapeville, and five brothers, Roosevelt Cooper, of Miami, Fla., Tommy Guest (Carol), of New Carollton, Md., Ronald Guest, of Pittsburgh, Lester Guest, of Jeannette, and Raymond Guest, of Grapeville; and a host of family and friends. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, with Pastor Roy Aiken Jr. officiating.
