Louis R. Croushore, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Hempfield Manor. He was born Sept. 14, 1944, in Greensburg, a son of the late Louis R. and Theresa Rushman Croushore. Prior to retirement, he worked as a security supervisor at Elliott Co. He was a Navy veteran, a member of United Church of Christ, Larimer, and a former member of American Legion Post No. 344 and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Marie Croushore. He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Diane" Schrosk Croushore, of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, David W. Croushore and his wife, Samantha, of Perry, Ga., and Jeff Croushore and his wife, Kelly, of Irwin; six grandchildren; two siblings, Sharon Makilo, of Lorraine, Ohio, and Nicholas Croushore, of Wilmington, Del.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, in the funeral home with Brian Geesaman officiating. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
