Rosie Busin Bellono, 95, a resident of St. Anne Home, Greensburg, formerly of Jeannette, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022. She was born Dec. 29, 1926, in Ringertown, Pa., a daughter of the late Carlo and Catterina Borgo Busin. Prior to her retirement, Rosie was employed by Westinghouse Trafford Printing. She was a member of Ascension Church, Jeannette, and its Rosary Altar Society, and the local Catholic Daughters of America. Rosie also was a member of the Grandview Women's Auxiliary Club, the Young at Heart Seniors of Penn Township, and volunteered at the former Sacred Heart School cafeteria in Jeannette and the American Red Cross. Rosie and her husband, Pete, loved music and dancing. We fondly recall the image of them on the dance floor spinning endlessly to a polka. In addition to her parents, Rosie was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Pete B. Bellono, in 2019; a sister, Anne Dugan; and a brother, Anthony Busin. She is survived by her sons, John A. Bellono and wife, Patricia, of Huntsville, Ala., and Peter B. and Caroline Bellono, of Jeannette; and three grandchildren, Teresa Bellono and husband, Justin Walsh, Christine Kessler and husband, Andrew, and Justin Bellono. Rosie's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and nurses of St. Anne Home and Excela Health Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care. There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Ascension Church with Father Job Foote as celebrant. A private interment will take place in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette is assisting the family with arrangements.

With deepest sympathy. I think of your parents every Christmas. They gave us a Christmas ornament for our Firat Christmas in 1983. I still place it on the tree every year. Now they are together again..
