T. Stewart Obituary

T. Lee (Pryts) Stewart, 95, of North Irwin, died at home, Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was born January 26, 1930, in Swissvale, a daughter of the late Leroy C. and Margaret (Kaufamann) Pryts and was also preceded in death by her husband John William Stewart Sr., and brothers Leroy Pryts and Joel Pryts. Lee was a member of First United Methodist Church, Irwin, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Irwin Chapter 400. She was also a founding member of the former Ladies Auxiliary of the Irwin VFD. She is survived by her sons John W. Stewart II (Diane) of North Huntingdon and James P. Stewart (Megan Schaffer) of North Irwin; her grandchildren Kelly Marsh (Shawn), Stefanie Kenton (Jeff), and Jonathan Stewart (Remy); her great-grandchildren Nora, Jonas, Milo, Mila, and Dani; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 17, in First United Methodist Church, 310 Oak St., Irwin. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Order of Eastern Star, Irwin Chapter 400, will hold services, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. For online condolences please visit www.snyderfuneralservices.com.
