Eric Wassel Obituary

Eric was my attorney for years and everything I ever needed he was there. I considered him a friend and I'm so sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. To his family I have no words to comfort you. I didn't know. We spoke several times over the last couple months I wish he was still with you all. Great man.

I was saddened to hear the news of Eric´s passing. I´ve know him since the days of Our Lady of Grace CCD. He was a great guy, fellow Pitt grad and die hard supporter, and I know he will be missed. My deepest sympathy to Eric´s wife, children and family.

Eric and I first began working together in 2004 at Anzalone Law Offices, and over the years our professional paths continued to cross at O'Malley & Langan, Fellerman & Ciarimboli, and finally at Wassel Law Offices. Beyond being a skilled attorney, Eric was a truly kind friend.

He stood beside me through life´s highs and lows, attended my wedding, and was always there when I needed support-just as I tried to be for him during difficult times. Watching Eric endure his long battle with illness was heartbreaking, but I take some comfort in knowing that his suffering is now over.

Eric will be deeply missed by all who knew him. My heart goes out to his wife Melissa, their children Gabby and Tyler, and the entire Wassel family during this incredibly difficult time. May his memory be a blessing.

I am heartbroken to hear of Eric's passing and want to express my sincere condolences to his family.

I recently had the privilege of meeting Matt and Melissa, and it was evident how strong their bond is, as well as their deep love for one another and their family.

May he rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Bud , Jackie and family. Words can't begin to express our sadness for Eric and the entire family at his passing. We posted a picture of one our group camping trips that we always looked forward to. We were one big family and your loss is ours also. Distance and health prevents us from paying our heartfelt condolences to the entire family but he will be in our prayers.

May Eric rest in peace and may his family be uplifted by all of the good memories and times they have to keep him in their hearts forever.

Although I did not know Eric personally, I knew him through his Dad Bud. I know from talking with Bud for some time how seriously ill Eric was. He is now at rest forever in the arms of angels. I extend my sincere condolences to Melissa and family, and to Bud & Jackie. May he rest in peace with the Holy Spirit as his guardian through eternity.

You will be missed my friend. You were a great attorney, a great family man, a great sports fan albeit a fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, and a great friend.

With your ability to tell a story, you would have been just as good in talk radio as you were as a lawyer.

I will keep my fond memories of our cases together where, although we were on different sides of the bar, we'd almost always grab lunch after a deposition to catch up on the more important news regarding family and life in general.
