Ernest Ovamio Obituary

Ernest 'Bo' Ovamio Jr., 61, Springdale, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. Bo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Bo is survived by his loving wife, Pam, with whom he has shared the past 16 years. They built a life traveling together and riding their Harleys; these moments will forever be etched in Pam's heart. Bo is also survived by his cherished son, Beau; his stepdaughters, Amber Tavella and Samantha Chesler; and three grandchildren. His love for his family was unmatched, and his bond with Beau was one of his great treasures. They shared countless moments of joy, whether it was enjoying meals together or watching Steelers games. Bo's role as a father was central to his life. Bo is also survived by his mother, Carol Ovamio; and his sister, Lisa Pyron (Chip); and he was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ovamio. He will be missed by his niece, Leah Conroy; and nephew, Jack Pyron; as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins. His family meant the world to him. From working with his father in the cabinet shop to riding their Harleys, they now ride together in spirit, reunited in eternity. In his memory, we celebrate Bo's love for his family and his spirit of adventure. Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. His family will be celebrating his life privately. Bo was my first friend before I even went to preschool. He always had my back and was an amazing friend. I was so lucky to have known him and had one heck of a lot of good times with him and his incredible family. They all had a huge impact on my life on so many levels. I will miss him and am hartbroken, but as I listen to some of our favorite music, I think about him and the great times I had. I could write a book. Miss you Bo and hope to see you on the other side.
