Gerald Cline Obituary

Gerald B. Cline, 88, of Apollo, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at Embassy of Saxonburg. He was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Export to the late Frank W. and Rebecca S. (Walton) Cline. Jerry grew up in Franklin Township and lived in Apollo for over 40 years. He was a truck driver for the Atlantic Richfield for over 35 years. Jerry also owned and operated Cline's Backhoe Service for many years. He also served his country in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, though he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his children, Traci L. (Eric) Clifford of Fawn Township, Scott (Lauri) Cline of Apollo, and Jeffrey (Michelle) Cline of Avonmore. He also is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Friend) Cline, in 2013; and his brother, Warren Cline. At Jerry's request, all viewing, services, and burial will be private. He was laid to rest in Evangel Reformed Church Cemetery, Export. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
