Lois J. (Klingensmith) Fulton, 93, of Gilpin Township, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, in Natrona Heights. She was born March 29, 1928, in Leechburg, to Sidney W. and Mary Margaret (Rupert) Klingensmith. Lois was a 1946 graduate of Leechburg High school; and a former office clerk in the service department of Allegheny Ludlum Steel, West Leechburg Works. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Leechburg, where in the past she served on the Altar Guild and helped to assemble the church newsletter. She is survived by her son, Robert W. Fulton (Donna); grandchildren, Alexander (Johanna), Garrett (Savannah) and Katie (her BFF); and great-grandson, Jack Fulton, all of Maryland. Survivors also include nieces, G. Andrea McCool, Patricia Dancho (Matt) and Linda Lois Haller (Tom); nephew, David Moran; and best friend, Sara Rupert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert J. Fulton, who passed away Sept. 28, 2018; and her sisters, Dorothy Moran (Pat) and Marjorie Bowser (Sam), of Gilpin Township. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, at CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2021, with the Rev. James V. Arter III officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 620 Evergreen Road, Gilpin Township. Condolences to the Fulton family may be offered at www.clawsonfuneralhome.com.

Lois and my mother Rita Altman were friends for many years. They were brought together with their shared enjoyment of refunding and couponing. Lois was always such a cheerful lady!
