Marion Matuizek Obituary

Marion J. Matuizek, 78, of Tarentum, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born June 12, 1943, in Harrison Township, to the late William "Bus" and Doris (Matava) Southward. Marion was a social worker for Horizon Home and of the Catholic faith. She was a 1961 graduate of Har-Brack High School. Survivors include her children, Jeffrey W. "Goose" (Carol) Matuizek, of Brackenridge, Edward J. (Michelle) Matuizek, of Cranberry Township, Mark R. Matuizek, of Fawn Township, and Michael J. Matuizek, of Providence, R.I. Also surviving are her grandchildren, McKenna, Mina and Lannah Matuizek. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Godfrey. All services for Marion will be private.
