Rita A. Caeti, 82, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, in Melbourne, Fla. She was born March 25, 1938, in Harrison Township, to the late John A. and Clementine (Pastorek) Uhric. Rita lived the past 10 years in Florida and prior to that, New Kensington and Tarentum. She was a hostess in a Pittsburgh restaurant for a number of years and of the Catholic faith. Rita was a 1956 graduate of East Deer High School. Survivors include her granddaughter, Danielle (Carlos) Alfaro; and two great-grandchildren, Keira and Jack Alfaro, all of Alexandria, Va. Also surviving are her siblings, Dolores (Roy) Myers, of Uniontown, Raymond (Patty) Uhric, of Coraopolis, Joan (Carl) Sadecky, of New Kensington and Susan Ward, of Tarentum. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzette Uhric, in 2014. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Christian funeral Mass, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, with the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss officiating.
