Thomas Joseph "T.J." Polito, 43, of Arnold, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, in his home. He was born July 28, 1978, in New Kensington, to the late Donna Lou Lauricia. Thomas was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and then graduated from Duquesne University, receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree in marketing. He worked for Macy's at the Pittsburgh Mills since it opened. Thomas was a member of Mt. St. Peter Church, New Kensington. He was a devoted and loving husband and father, and his children were the apple of his eye. Thomas is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melissa Zellefrow Polito; children, Donovan, Logan and Gianna Polito; and aunts, Anna Marie Brink, and Betty, Louise and Mary Lou Lauricia. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Mt. St. Peter Church, New Kensington. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of T.J. to his family. Arrangements are entrusted to the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 724-337-3325.
