Victor W. Colen, 91, of Natrona Heights, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Allegheny Valley Hospital. Victor was born Sunday, Oct. 5, 1930, in Freeport, to the late Albert and Mary Stanik Colen. Victor was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War. He was a coal miner at Penn Allegheny Coal Mine, retiring in 1992 after 29 years of service. He was also self-employed at the family owned mine from 1954-1963. He was a life member at the Freeport Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Brackenridge American Legion. Victor enjoyed family camping in Tionesta. Our father was loved and cherished by his children. He brought so much love and laughter to our lives. Your love was pure and sincere. We will miss you, dad. Your family will love you endlessly. Victor is survived by his children, Victor D. (Sandy) Colen, of Natrona Heights, Marilyn (Karle) Anderson, of Cabot, Leona (Timothy) Crisman, of Butler and Sandra Wiley, of Natrona; he is also survived by his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anna Selfridge. Family and friends were invited Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, 724-224-7730, where a funeral ceremony was held immediately following in the funeral home with the Rev.
