Carole Wilson Obituary

When I was a child growing up near Jennie Reed elementary school, Carole was one of the neighborhood "moms" who looked out for her two kids, Steve and Janae, while keeping an eye on the rest of us as we rode bikes, played baseball, engaged in "hide and seek" shared each others toys. I loved Carole and Bob throughout my adult life, too. They were my mom and dad's closest friends. She was a cornerstone in their friendship which continued all their lives. She was a good person.

Miss Carole adopted me as her granddaughter 4 years ago when I worked at the local credit union in Bonney Lake. We loved talking sports and I always made sure there was chocolate at my desk, just for her. I always looked forward to her coming into the branch with Gene and Jania, hearing the "good morning " no matter if it was 2pm. And when I moved to another credit union, she came down to visit me there and I´m so grateful for our visit just 4 weeks ago. She said to me that she thought God forgot about her; well, Miss Carole, he didn´t. And you meant the world to me and to have had these 4 years with you I will treasure and I know that my Gram was waiting for you in heaven to say thank you for looking after me.

Aunt Carole was mom's best friend, from High School until mom's death at the age of 86. I know they are together again, laughing and hugging. Love you Auntie.
