Brian Smith Obituary

Brian Lee Smith, 59, of Kellyville, OK., went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2025.

He was born June 21, 1966, in Tulsa, OK., to Gussie and Donna Smith (Williams). He graduated from Kellyville High School in 1984. After graduation, at the age of 17, Brian's mother had to sign a permission slip for him to begin his beloved career with Pepsi Cola, where he enjoyed over 30 years of dedicated service.

Brian met and later married the love of his life Kathy. They just recently celebrated 16 years of marriage. He loved traveling with Kathy to many places, but most of all the trips to NHRA Drag Racing events, where he supported his favorite driver, John Force and stopping at any casino along the way. He enjoyed drinking beer with his brother Kendall and life-long friends, fishing, playing cards and simply being with family and friends.  He was a true Broncos fan, win or lose! He also enjoyed attending church and learning Creek Hymns.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gus and Donna Smith and grandparents Robert and Hattie Mae Williams.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Drake, Mitchell, Tyler and wife Kourtney, and daughter Laura. He had 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 3 bonus grandsons; brother Kendall Smith and wife Lisa; nephews, Presley Smith and Eli Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Wake service will be held on Friday, September 19th, from 7-9 pm in the chapel at Traditions Funeral Home, 35 S Main, Kellyville, OK 74039.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Coalition Church, 24543 OK Hwy 33, Sapulpa, OK 74066.

Brian Smith served as Mayor of Kellyville. He was always concerned about the Town and Served well in this position, After a storm with many downed trees and much damage Brian and his Brother and several friends cleared the limbs and damage that was left.

I am sorry for your loss, Brian was one of my favorite people at Pepsi. I looked up to him and his knowledge and how approached his job and took care of the customers. I already missed chatting with him in his office and I will have to wait until heaven to chat with him again. He was good man and im glad I knew him!
