David Clinton "Clint" Lawson

September 13, 1968 - April 19, 2025

David Clinton "Clint" Lawson was born September 13, 1968, in Tulsa, OK to David R. Lawson and Leslie L. (Smith) Lawson. Clint passed away on April 19, 2025, in Santa Ana, California at the age of 56.

Clint was a proud graduate of Tulsa Memorial High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Tulsa in 1994. During his time at TU, he was an active member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, even serving as Treasurer of the Chapter in 1991.

For many years, Clint dedicated his professional career to the aerospace industry, initially working with Nordam through Honeywell/Raytheon. Later he brought his expertise to Allied Electronics as a Client Relationship Manager.

Clint was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He had a vivacious smile and a contagious laugh. He is survived by his loving mother, Leslie Lawson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his beloved daughters, Shelby Lawson of Kansas City, Kansas and Emily Lawson of the Kansas City, Missouri; his sister, Natalie Dooley and her husband Tim of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brother, Matthew Lawson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his father David R. Lawson, his paternal grandparents Gayle Clinton Lawson and Emilee Jean (Birkett) Lawson, and his maternal grandparents, L.T. Smith and Carolyn Elaine (Kenney) Smith.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 14, at Sharp Chapel on the campus of The University of Tulsa, 800 S Tucker Drive, Tulsa, OK 74104.
