Carol Harris Obituary

Carol Ann Harris (Bouthiette, Kiley) age 79 of Ocklawaha, FL passed peacefully into heaven June 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, both in person and spirit while in the care of Hospice after 9 courageous years suffering with Alzheimer's.

Born in Manchester, NH May 7, 1946 to the late Estelle (Bouchard) and Rudolph Bouthiette, she was the spirited "Shirley Temple", of her Maynard Ave. neighborhood. The family lived in GA for a while then returned so she was able to graduate in 1964 from Manchester Memorial H.S. She married the late Thomas Ignatius Kiley Jr. of Concord, NH later that same year and they raised two boys, Michael Thomas and the late Brian Patrick. While living in Concord she became a certified optometric tech before the family happily moved to sunny Casselberry, FL in 1984. Carol worked in optometry for several years then finished her working life as front desk/insurance manager for a very busy dental office with her beautiful smile. Tom passed in 2003 and after a year or so, she was fortunate to reconnect with her childhood neighbor and high school sweetheart from Manchester, Martin Harris. They married in 2006 and moved with him to Woods and Lakes Airpark in Ocklawaha, FL to enjoy many years of flying with Marty in their Cessna.

Carol is survived by her husband Martin Harris, eldest son Michael Kiley and his wife Serisa of TX, younger brother James Bouthiette and his wife Mary, their two sons and families in the Manchester area, stepchildren Jennifer (Louis) Fiore and John (Narcissa) Harris and his two children along with many cousins and friends in New England and FL.

A private graveside service will be held with family at St Joeseph cemetery in Bedford NH September 8, 2025, followed by a nearby "celebration of life" luncheon for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to any Hospice of your choice.

I'll never forget the first picture I saw of her was in a "remove before flight" red shirt with a big smile. She was kind and I could tell she cared about even the family members she didn't see very often like me. I'm glad you two re-found each other. Love you Uncle Marty
