MAHOMET - Renae Lynn Leffler, 78, of Mahomet died Tuesday (Aug. 26, 2025) at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Evergreen Cremation Services, 314 Tiffany Court, Champaign.

Renae was the consummate teacher. I learned a lot from her in my few short years at Lincoln Trail. We had many laughs in that 4th grade hallway. She was always there to advise and help in any way. My sincere sympathies to Ralph and family.

Sending prayers to all of you. I have fond memories of working with Renae and having my children in her class. She was always very thorough and organized, with high student expectations. And sending special hugs to Ralph, who got me started on my 45 year OT career.
