Rose Garthoff Obituary

Rose Garthoff

Rose Marie Garthoff, 76, of Denver, passed away at UnityPoint-Allen Memorial Hospital on April 14, 2025, at about 6:10 p.m., due complications from surgery, surrounded by family members and friends.

She loved to sew, golf and travel to Texas in the winter for 25 years to meet up with all the friends that she made and loved. She also enjoyed going to South Padre Island. You can't leave out all of the wine trips back in Iowa and a few out of state ones as well. She loved to have a good time with friends and family, especially the grandkids and the great grandkids. She will surely be missed.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Hazel Paul; brothers, Ken and Chuck; and a sister, Joyce; daughter, Brenda; and granddaughter, Christine (Chrissy).

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Craig and Tara Garthoff; son-in-law, Randy. Grandchildren, Jared and Brittnay Garthoff, Ryan Garthoff, Brittney Kane, Brenda. Great-grandchildren, Rory, Lawson and Kingston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Denver American Legion Post #653 in Denver at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The family requests no flowers, please. Online condolences may be left at kaisercorson.com.
