Beverly Dingler Obituary

DINGLER, Beverly Sue, 73, resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Prattville, AL at 2:00 pm with Pastor Justin Hall and Dr. John Johnston officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A private family burial will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newnan, GA. at 1:00 pm. Mrs. Dingler was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rosemary Woods; daughter, Jill Renee Dingler. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dan Dingler; two daughters, Caroline Racicot (Robert) and Amanda Wade (Chris); son, John Dingler (Crystal); seven grandchildren, Jillian Ingraham (Riley), Sarah Racicot, Jacob Dingler, Luke Dingler, Caleb Dingler, Jackson Wade and Chandler Wade; extended family and many friends. Beverly had a strong faith and love for Jesus. She was a long term member of First Baptist Church of Prattville, AL. since 1986. She loved to journal, garden and spend time in nature. She was a proud graduate of Auburn University and enjoyed teaching. A member of "DAR" Daughters of American Revolution and very patriotic. She had a passion for her heritage and worked diligently to learn about her family history. She loved going to Sanibel Island, FL since 2010 with her husband, Dan. She loved to bike and search for shells. She loved to be in the kitchen cooking with her mother. She loved Illinois and visiting her family farms and the cornfields. She loved music and was a huge "Beatles" fan. She loved sharing her faith with others to the end. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the American Cancer Society, First Baptist Church of Prattville or your favorite charity. Pallbearers will be Robert Racicot, Chris Wade, Jackson Wade, Chandler Wade, Jacob Dingler and Luke Dingler. She left us with the words from this poem: I won't be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call, and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near, and if you listen with your heart, you'll hear. All my love, all around you, soft and clear.
