Ronald Johnson Obituary

JOHNSON, Ronald Dale, USAF MSGT, Retired, 85, resident of Prattville, AL passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was born in Minnesota to Perry and Mae Johnson on December 28, 1939. He retired from the USAF in 1978 after 20 plus years of service and later from the highway dept of the State of Alabama. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m with Chaplain Bill Tucker officiating. at Prattville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with Prattville Memorial directing. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Wednesday evening, July 9, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Faye Johnson; parents, Percy and Mae Johnson; son, Jeffrey A. Johnson; three brothers, Dick Johnson, Gene Johnson and Bud Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Pam Brown; three grandchildren, Crystal Johnson Sotelo (Edgar), Robert Dale White (Shellie) and Danielle Diamond Deavers (Chris); 14 great-grandchildren, Blake, Ashley, Jeffrey, Elisa, Edgar, David, Sofia, Tyler, Christina, Landon, Ethan, Elijah, Gracie and Timmy; five great, great-grandchildren, Juniper, Imogene, Kynleigh, Kaylynn and Raylee; extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Chris Deavers, Elijah Jackson, Edgar Sotelo, Edgar A. Sotelo, Robert White and Tyler White. Honorary Pallbearers will Ethan Jackson and David Sotelo.
