(Girod) Schwartz of rural Geneva, IN, passed away at 11:34 AM on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Geneva, IN. Clara was of the Old Order Amish Church. Survivors include her parents, siblings, Michael G. Schwartz, Jess G. Schwartz, John G. Schwartz, and Benjamin G. Schwartz, all of Geneva, IN, maternal grandparents - Benjamin C. & Susan Girod, Geneva, IN, maternal great grandparents - Benjamin M. & Esther Girod, Berne, IN, maternal great grandparents - Enos & Becky Christner, Bryant, IN, paternal grandparents - John Q. & Rosie Schwartz, Geneva, IN, and paternal great grandparents - Enos & Adel Schmidt, Carlisle, KY. A graveside Funeral Service will take place at Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery, Geneva, IN. at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 with Bishop Phenas Christner officiating. Interment will follow in the Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery in Geneva. Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
