Phyllis Boyce Obituary

Avilla – Phyllis A Boyce, 96, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at Ascension Sacred Heart in Avilla. She lived in Florida for 35 years, she was originally from Fort Wayne. She was born February 18, 1929 in Fort Wayne to Fred and Esther (Scherer) Ruby. Phyllis worked at Sears, County Line Cheese, and retired from Rieke Corporation, all in Auburn. Surviving are 2 sons, a daughter, and their spouses, Michael A and Jeri Thomas of Kendallville, Steven E and Julie Thomas of Garrett and Rebecca and Larry Madden of Sparta, TN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Raymond Thomas and William "Bill" Boyce, daughter Cynthia Thomas, son, Richard Thomas, sister, Shirley Matter and brother, Robert "Bob" F Ruby.
