Frederick Holford Obituary

Frederick Delisie Holford, 73, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025. Born on December 28, 1950, Frederick grew up in Red Hook, New York, where he developed his strong sense of family, faith, and perseverance. Later in life, he relocated to Pennsylvania, where he continued to live a life marked by service, learning, and devotion to God. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment throughout his life. A graduate of Touro College, Frederick was deeply passionate about education and personal growth. His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life and a guiding light in all that he did. Frederick was also a devoted servant of his church community, faithfully serving as a Deacon at Salt of the Earth Ministries, where he touched many lives through his kindness, wisdom, and humble spirit. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, thoughtful nature, and unwavering belief in God's goodness. Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Erma Holford, and his siblings Gregory Holford, Anthony Holford, Veronica Lander, and Valerie Holford. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and in the legacy of faith and wisdom he leaves behind. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Rt 209, Brodheadsville, followed by a service at 1:00 PM with Bishop Robert Williams officiating. A burial will be on Saturday, October 18 at Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. Cremation is entrusted to H.G.
