Brian Young Obituary

Brian Scott Young, 58, of Suffield, CT, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Brian was born on January 15, 1967 in Hartford, CT to Carol Nicholson Fuller and Richard "DICK" Young. He was raised in a happy home in Suffield by his parents, Carol and Gary Fuller. Brian graduated Suffield High School, Class of 1985 and Central CT State University in 1989. Born with an entrepreneur-mind, he moved around the country to Martha's Vineyard, Georgia, San Francisco, Seattle and Tempe AZ with various companies gaining work and life experience, before moving home to Suffield just before the millennium. Brian founded Fuller Modular Homes with his dad, Gary, and spent his remaining years business-focused. He was proud of his Italian heritage, enjoying many great pizzas from Frankie's Firehouse. He loved his Suffield roots, especially tobacco farming, his earliest entrepreneurial venture with his friend Brian Mandirola. Predeceased by his mom, he leaves his dad, Gary, whom he called his best friend. His brothers Stuart Young (partner Cathy and his kids Megan and Shane) and Kevin Fuller (wife Christie and sons Kelly and Teddy). His sister Amy Reay (partner Don Miner who has been a significant help to us all during this time) and Amy's son Tyler, whom Brian thought of as a son. He also leaves a close circle of friends from his college days, notably Ward Trowbridge and Clay Tebbits (who was by his side with our family when Brian passed), along with Patrick Quirk. The family wishes to thank the skilled staff of St. Vincent's Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness. A private farewell will be held at the convenience of the family. Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home (his grandfather Sherwin Nicholson's business) is handling arrangements. To leave on-line condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com

I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was a person who made people happy just being around him. I used to visit him when he worked in the Suffield pharmacy. He was a genuine and kind person.
