Evelyn Reuter Obituary

Eveyln (Mazur) Reuter, died after a brief illness. Widow of David C. Reuter. A career teacher of 41 years in the West Hartford School System. Evelyn enjoyed her retirement, her house, gardens, fishpond and dogs. Believed in God winks and thanked God every day for what she had been given. She felt blessed by her Ungourmet Group, Knitting Group, and many who had blessed her life on her last journey with their unselfish care, help, and love. Especially Jacqui Maxon, Kelly Cabell, Pamela and Michael Palmer, Fran Russo, and Lois Grady. Also, she would like to thank the loving care she received from the nurses on the 2nd floor at UCONN Medical Center. She passed away a happy lady. Services will be private. Donations can be made to the Simsbury Land Trust, P.O Box 634, Simsbury, CT 06070, Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 301, Simsbury, CT 06070 or a donation of your choice in her name.
