Norton Ellman Obituary

Norton Edward Ellman Lovingly surrounded by his family, Norton Edward Ellman of Newton Massachusetts passed away on July 11 at the age of 98 years. He will be dearly remembered by his wife of 77 years, Muriel; children: Paula & Doug, Matthew & Laurie and Larry & Karen; grandchildren: Anna & Karl Rodger, Sam Chavis & Jennie & Rich Mullin; Isaac & Amanda Ellman and Hannah Ellman & Olivia Westbrook-Gold; Alex Ellman and Sarah Ellman and great grandchildren: Lucy & Chase Rodger, and Jack Mullin. Norton was born in Boston, Massachusetts and lived most of his life in Newton Massachusetts. He was an entrepreneur in developing his real estate investment firm. He embraced his family and friends with love and deep commitment. Norton loved fishing, running, birdwatching, watching the New England Patriots, fostering a decades-long wine club, and especially summer vacations with his family in Wellfleet-Cape Cod. Over the long arc of the many aspects of his life, Norton gifted all with his generosity. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 on Sunday July 13 at Robert E. Shure Funeral Home 543 George Street New Haven Connecticut. Burial will follow at Beaver Brook Cemetery, Old Post Road, Clinton Connecticut.
