Patricia MacIver Obituary

Patricia "Patty" (Yorkavich) MacIver, 75, of Terryville, wife of Donald MacIver, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Havencare at Litchfield Woods in Torrington. She was born November 17, 1949, in Torrington, daughter of the late Edward and Patricia (Clayton) Yorkavich. Patty was employed as an accountant but was always more interested in the Arts. She then decided to study Graphic Design and worked as a Graphic Designer and Artists for many years. She loved art of any form and often drew portraits and painted landscapes. She belonged to the Ten-2-One Artists Group in Thomaston. She and Donald loved to play music together, dance, go for drives and spend time together. When she wasn't doing art, she could be found in her yard gardening; she loved her garden. Patty leaves behind her beloved husband of 41 years, Donald MacIver; her brother Edward Yorkavich and his wife Joanne of Torrington; her brother-in-law Roger Turrell of SC; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Besides her parents, Patty we predeceased by her sister Denise Turrell. Family and friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 5-7 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Patricia "Patty" (Yorkavich) MacIver, please visit our floral store.
