Stephen Fendrick Obituary

Stephen Ray "Steve" Fendrick, 68, of Laddonia, passed away at 5:38 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. He was born June 29, 1957 in Mexico, the son of Richard Lee "Dick" Fendrick and Dorothy Caroline Hemman Fendrick. He married Shirley Faye Arnett on July 23, 1997 in Bennett Springs and she survives Other survivors include two daughters; Colette (Richard) Whelan of Mexico and Chanda Herron of Centralia, two granddaughters; Winona Whelan and Adessa (Brian) Lovell of Vandalia, two great grandchildren; Lyla and Alanna Lovell, one brother Richard (Wilma) Fendrick of Laddonia, sister-in-law Karen Fendrick of Laddonia, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother David Fendrick. Steve enjoyed trout fishing where he was a Weavers lunker club member. He enjoyed searching out the next antique treasure and working on his antique car but most of all he enjoyed his time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren or as he would say the "Littles". There are no services planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in care of Bienhoff Funeral Home, PO Box 6 Laddonia, MO 63352.
