Robert Leith Obituary

Robert W. Leith Jr. passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born in Haverhill, MA on June 30, 1933 and was the son of the late Robert and Iva Leith. Bob graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1951, and served four years in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957. He has been the owner of Leith Flower Shop since February 1957. He was a member of the Saggahew Lodge and the Maplewood Cemetery Board. He was an avid birdwatcher and antique car enthusiast. A student of the Essex Agricultural School, he expressed his creativity daily as a florist and gardener. Bob is survived by his loving wife Dianne (Cronn) Leith, whom he married on February 26, 1955. He is also survived by his daughter Judy Raycroft and her husband Daniel, his sons William Leith, and Steven Leith and his wife Krista, his sister Joan Hall and her husband Lenny, and his daughter-in-law Shirley Leith. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son David Leith, his brother Dick Leith and his wife Kay, his sister Jean Russell and her husband Warren, and daughter-in-law Patricia Leith. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 7:15pm in the funeral home chapel. A private family burial service will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Plaistow, NH. Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home
