Syble Nadine Birdwell, 84, of Searcy, Ark., left this earth and entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2025. Nadine is predeceased by her parents, Thomas Jefferson Haynie and Mary Ellen Coles Haynie, and four siblings, Carl Haynie, Bo Haynie, Eloise Garrett and Clint Coles.
Survivors include her husband, David Birdwell; four children, Steve (Suzan) Brasseal, Glenn Brasseal, Joy Zavala and Tricia (Matt) Irving; and one stepdaughter, Lisa (Phillip) Anderson. Nadine is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren (all of whom she adored), and one sister, Grace Haynie Spradling.
Nadine was a devoted Christian, loved her family and her church family and she was a faithful member of Westview Missionary Baptist Church in Searcy.
Visitation was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Ark., with a celebration of life following at 2 p.m. Interment was at West Point Cemetery in West Point, Ark.

Nadine substitute taught at Searcy McRae Elementary and substituted for me in my classroom several times. We had playground duty together often. She was a sweet and caring person . She loved the children. Very friendly and understanding lady. I will miss seeing her around. Loved by many.
