Ann Green Obituary

Ann Marie Green passed away at her home in Lake, Michigan on July 2, 2025. She was 65. Ann was born in Clare, Michigan on June 16, 1960 to Raymond Green and Ruth Aumiller. She was a graduate of Farwell High School. Ann was known for her strong spirit, warm heart, and love for life's simple pleasures; coffee, her favorite show Supernatural, and most of all, spending cherished time with her grandchildren. She was a tough cookie with a heart of gold, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, or a comforting hug. Those who knew Ann often said she was one of the sweetest people they had ever met. Her kindness and gentle nature left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a truly good woman and an amazing grandmother whose memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

While our hearts ache with her absence, we find peace knowing she is in heaven, free from pain, lovingly watching over her loved ones. Ann's legacy of love, strength, and compassion will never be forgotten.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth; her Aunts Kathrine Tharp, Eunice Harwood, and Daisey Green; her Uncles Roger Green, Leland Greene, Murlin Green and Cpt. Harold Green; and her grandson Ian Christopher Lake.

She is survived by her son Christopher (Shana) Wilson of Lake; daughters Amanda (Scott) Calkins of Gulliver; Dr. Elizabeth Mujtaba of Old Lyme, CT, and Karen (Jessica) Wilson of Lake City; her grandchildren Michael (Darian) Hyde, Kara Hyde, Antheny Buckland, Samarriah Carl, Adalin Castillo, Rayden Carl, Christopher Wilson, Zalayah Carl, Lucas Wilson, Evelyn and Johnathan Wilson; great grandchildren Ian Cordle and Hailie Kuiper; and Dan Wilson, co-parent and partner in raising their children.

There will be a visitation on Monday July 7th at the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home from 6PM to 8PM. A celebration of life service will be held at Brown Corners Church in Clare, MI on July 8, 2025 starting with visitation at 10 AM, the service at 11 AM, lunch after the service, and then a grave side service for family and close friends at 3 PM. Her final resting place will be next to her mother Ruth and her grandparents Arthur and Beatrice at Garfield Township Cemetery in Lake, MI. Memorials are suggested to the Brown Corners United Brethren Church. On-line condolences may be left at www.stephenson-wyman.com
