Patricia Kennedy Obituary
February 8, 1942 - June 8, 2025
ELROY - Patricia J. Kennedy, age 83 years, of Elroy, Wis., passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Greenway Manor in Spring Green, Wis.
She was born on February 8, 1942, in Baraboo, Wis., the daughter of John and Selma (Hinz) Lenihan. She graduated from the Baraboo High School.
Patricia was united in marriage to Charles F. Kennedy on October 28, 1961, at Durward's Glen, near Baraboo.
They farmed in the Baraboo area and later near Wonewoc, Wis., from 1970 to 1995. They retired and then moved to Elroy where they were active in the community. Charlie preceded her in death on July 20, 2018.
Pat worked for the City of Elroy as a Utility Clerk for many years. She was also a member of the Elroy Lions Club and Elroy Women's Club. She enjoyed calligraphy, bird watching and bicycle riding.
Survivors include her children, John (Tanya) Kennedy and Kathy Garner (Jon Elliott); grandchildren, Bobby (Lana) Kennedy, Mikaela Kennedy, Kane Kennedy, Madeline Kennedy, Kasey Garner (Stefan) Rudel and Stacey (Jordan) Schraufnagel; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Brielle, Stella, Jaxon, Silas and Emerson.
In addition to her husband, Charles; she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eugene Lenihan, Elaine Mehl and John Lenihan; and grandson, Davis Daniel Garner.
There are no services scheduled at the time. Interment will be in the Elroy City Cemetery at a later date.
