I had the pleasure to start working with Paul just over a year ago. Relative to so many longstanding relationships he had, my time with him was short. It was short, but impactful. New to the scene, Paul made me feel welcome. Paul was fun and loud and a character of the best kind. He made us laugh every day. His reputation in the industry and his knowledge of the business were second to none. Paul went out of his way to thank people. And when someone was doing a wonderful job or went above and beyond, he made sure their supervisor knew about it. We commiserated about the Bears, ribbed each other about our Cubs vs Card rivalry, and cheered on the Fighting Illini. But mostly, he spent time telling me about his grandkids. Just about every day he shared a new picture and a new story about one of them with that big smile and sparkle in his eyes. He really loved his family. My condolences to all.

Dear Jim and Matt, many years have passed since I saw Paul and you. I kept in touch with your mom for a bit. I always loved your family and am truly sorry to hear about Paul. It sounds like he.lived an amazing, fulfilling life! My sincere condolences to all of you and your family as you say goodbye to your big brother, husband, dad, grandpa and friend. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Linda Harwood Spataro
