Kathy Capps Obituary

ROCKVILLE – Kathy Geneva Capps, 68, of Rockville, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born February 24, 1957, in Clewiston, Florida, to the late Jackie Howard Whidden and Flora Mae Weaver Whidden. Kathy dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker, always putting her family first. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Hunter) Allee of Rockville; her son, Larry (Kylie) Capps, Jr. of Carbon; two sisters, Marie (Mitch) Jordan of Florida and Bonnie (Chuck) Eddington of Alaska; one brother, Howard (Tina) Whidden of Georgia; and seven grandchildren who were the light of her life Bradley and Cora McElheny, Braylynn, Kowen, Kreed, and Tennessee Honey Capps, and Rhett Allee. Kathy had a passion for arts and crafts and enjoyed watching Facebook reels, but her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and treasured every moment with them. Kathy also loved her Jesus and leaned on her faith throughout her life, finding strength, comfort, and hope in Him.
