Nancy King Obituary

We gather in love and gratitude to celebrate the beautiful life of Nancy Eleanor (Champlin) King, who passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on June 21, 1960 in Martinsville, Indiana, Nancy lived with a heart full of kindness, a spirit of generosity, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone around her. Guided by faith, she moved through life with grace, humility, and compassion, touching countless lives through her work, friendships, and deep love for family. She found joy in the simple rhythms of life, tending her garden, raising chickens, baking pies and caramels from scratch, and most of all, loving on her grandchildren, who were her greatest delight. She is survived by her devoted husband, John, children, Emmaly (Daniel) and John, grandchildren, Aiden (15) and Annalyn (10), brother, Herb, sister, Pam, sister-in-law, Terry, brother-in-law, Ted (Lucia), and many beloved nephews and nieces. She is reunited with her father and mother, Jack and LouAnn Champlin, sister-in-law, Jalayne, and brother-in-law, Bill. She will be deeply missed and remembered with unending love. We will come together to honor and celebrate Nancy Eleanor King on Tuesday, July 22 from 5-7PM at Owen Valley Christian Fellowship in Spencer, Indiana following a private burial. All who knew and loved her and her family are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate to Riley Children's Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
