Mike McLeod Obituary

FULTON--Michael "Mike" McLeod 79, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center In Tupelo, as a result of COPD. He was born September 22, 1946. He was the son of the late Byron McLeod and the late Anna Zarubova McLeod. Mike was a devoted member of the Fulton Church of Christ and a proud retiree of Jesco, where he worked faithfully for 30 years. Known for his strong work ethic and kind heart, he made lasting friendships everywhere he went. An avid golfer, Mike spent countless days with his friends at the Fulton Country Club, where he found joy and camaraderie on the course. He was especially proud to have achieved two holes-in-one there, a testament to his love of the game. Mike will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, faith, and friends. Celebration of Life services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Fulton Church of Christ with Minister Matt Thigpen officiating. Burial will be in Tilden Community Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, San McLeod; son, Jon (Lydia) McLeod of Oxford; daughters, Missi (Brad) Chatham of Fulton, and Madison (Andy) Walker of Thompson's Station, TN; grandchildren, Colin (Jordan Lea) Chatham, Jade (Colin) Ashmore, Jordan Chatham, and Brennen Chatham, all of Fulton and William Walker and Scotland Walker, both of Thompson's Station, TN, and Leland King and Maggie King, both of Oxford; Great-grandsons, Ezra Chatham, Rory Ashmore, and Miles Henry Ashmore, all of Fulton; brother, Rob McLeod of Hattiesburg; and a sister, Lou Ann (Gary) Fowler of Hattiesburg.He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Anna McLeod. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Crossroads Ranch, 716 Airport Road, Fulton, MS 38843, in honor of Mike.
