Tommie Nicholas Obituary


TOMMIE LEE NICHOLAS, 73 of Jonesville, NC passed peacefully into eternity on Monday, June 30, 2025. Tommie was born July 3, 1951 in Richwood to the late Wilbur and Ersie Cottrell Nicholas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter Tammie Mae; son Timothy Allen; brother Banjo Nicholas; and sister Phyllis Harris.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years Mary; son Robert; Sam who was like a son to him; several nieces and nephews; cousins David and Shirley Miller; and many extended family and friends to mourn his passing.
Tommie was a Husband, Father, Pastor, and loving, helping hand to all that crossed his path. Tommie served his country with pride for 20 years in the United States Army. He leaves a great legacy as a child of God who kept his eye on the prize, ran the race, and now has obtained his reward. I Corinthians 9:24.
In keeping with Tommie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

He was great man and role model of a Christian to all who crossed his path. He was a many of many life experiences that he shared as a pastor with his congregation and everyone who got the honor of knowing pastor tommie. Rest in heaven. You'll be missed down here by many but we know your with Jesus safe and sound.
