William Lindsey Obituary

NARROWS, VA – William "Bill" Edward Lindsey, 86, of Narrows, VA passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital. He was born on December 13, 1938 in McDowell County, West Virginia and was the son of the late Clarence Buford Lindsey and Hazel Parsell Lindsey. Bill attended Hales Chapel Methodist Church in Narrows, Virginia. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a Senior Technician at Celanese in Narrows, Virginia, having retired after 33 years of service. He was a member of Castle Rock Lodge 334 AF & AM in Pembroke, Virginia and had served many years in the Shriners. Bill loved golf, especially playing at Castle Rock Golf Course in Pembroke, Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Wilna Millirons Lindsey in 2021. Bill is survived by one son, Todd Lindsey and wife, Jennifer, of Narrows, VA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In keeping with Bill's wishes, he will be cremated.
