Glenn Walter Graf

March 27, 1927 - April 3, 2025

Glenn Walter Graf, born at home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, March 27th 1927 to Walter and Irene Graf, died in Los Angeles, California on April 3rd, 2025 at the age of 98.

Glenn, an only child, grew up in Wauwatosa, completed high school and entered service with the Army. After a tour with allied occupation forces in Italy, Glenn earned his college degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He worked in advertising during which time he met and married Patricia Bukowski in 1953.

Dissatisfied with corporate employment, Glenn and Pat bought a small motel in Garden Grove, California and began a long series of hospitality property ownership and management that concluded with the sales of their properties in Yuma, Arizona. Along the way three children were born to them; it was always a family business.

Glenn was a voracious reader always having subscriptions to various financial publications, local papers and never without a book close at hand, often about far away people and places. He satisfied his curiosity by traveling throughout the world.

Glenn's parents and wife died before he did, Patricia having passed in November of last year.

He is survived by his three children, Glenn Jr., Kerry, and Suzanne.

He left his children a legacy of hard work and perseverance taught by example.

Glenn will be laid to rest at the family grave site at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. A graveside service is planned.
